Marketing Team Lead

About This Role

The Marketing Team Lead will drive the success of Monster Energy Drink products by engaging consumers and supporting sales efforts through strategic event sampling.

This role is responsible for generating trial opportunities, developing key accounts relationships, increasing market knowledge, and building centers of influence networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Assist with recruiting, hiring, and training Monster Ambassadors team members. Provide consistent direction, coaching, and communication to maintain brand accuracy in the Monster brand experiences and sampling.
  • Operational Oversight: Supervise operations and equipment in local markets. Maintain company assets (storage facilities, inventory, vehicles, equipment).
  • Strategic Execution: Execute strategic directions and manage goals for assigned regions/markets. Build vendor and venue relationships. Generate sales opportunity leads.
  • Market Research: Increase market knowledge and identify various groups and organizations with targeted demographics to partner with.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain inventory control for sales and promotional events.
  • Event Planning: Plan and manage all aspects of event planning processes: pre, during, and post duties including personnel, product delivery/distribution, transportation, supplies, contracts, insurance, permits.
  • Regional Events: Actively participate in all regional events with ambassadors.
  • Schedule Management: Create event schedules for local markets, ensuring team assignments are appropriate for events.
  • Performance Feedback: Provide market successes feedback. Adhere to deadlines for administrative tasks including, but not limited to, reporting and recapping data for the region.
Requirements
  • A minimum of [X] years of experience in a marketing leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
