Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced wastewater hydraulic modeller to join our Adelaide team.

This role suits someone looking for a new journey within a growing team and an interest in developing best practice with the local water industry. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, designing and documenting work to an industry-accepted standard by undertaking wastewater hydraulic modelling.
  • Manage and deliver projects in a timely and technically competent manner in the wastewater hydraulic modelling area.
  • Represent the company in a client-facing role.
  • Support hydrological and hydraulic modelling to assess wastewater networks, masterplanning, and capacity assessments.
  • Project manage flooding projects, including management of staff to deliver projects and financial management.

About the Role:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering (civil) or a related discipline, with experience in wastewater networks design of medium-large scale infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of Australian design standards, codes, and practices.
  • Established track record of wastewater hydraulic modelling for Australian water utilities / councils.
  • Proactively seeking to enhance personal and professional development.
  • Eligible to attain CPEng or preferably CPEng.
  • Applying hydraulic modelling experience in InfoWorks (ICM, WS Pro), DHI (MIKE URBAN, MIKE+), Epanet, or other similar software.
