About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as the Branch Administrator/Credit Controller in a full-time role. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will be based in our Hobart branch and take on a diverse range of administrative tasks.
Main Responsibilities
- Controlling the banking and petty cash for the branch
- Raising purchase orders and preparing invoices for payment
- Courtesy and follow-up calls to customers
- Providing administrative support to the Branch Manager and Department Leaders
- Organising and maintaining file systems and records
About You
You understand the importance of exceptional customer service and have a strong eye for detail. You are a naturally positive and engaging communicator and enjoy collaborating at all levels.
Requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Excellent telephone/interpersonal skills
- Excellent typing/word processing skills and high attention to detail
- Outstanding organisational skills and ability to multitask and prioritise
- Ability to resolve problems, in a practical, timely and professional manner
- Ability to follow instructions and be self-motivated
