Job Summary

The role of Quality Assurance Manager is crucial in ensuring clients receive high-quality results from PhotonAssay units.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Short and Long Term QAQC Management: Ensure laboratory and end-user customer requirements are met.
  • Effective Communication: Manage relationships with direct customers regarding data quality, QAQC procedures, instrument calibration, and performance.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of new quality processes and procedures that improve PhotonAssay data quality globally.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Manage provisions from pre-deployment meetings with customers through to handover.
  • Optimise on-site calibrations for new and existing services, working closely with the Applications team.
  • Develop improved data quality control procedures.
  • Support the development of a strong OH&S culture.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or science or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience in a laboratory or quality management role.
  • Experience and understanding of mining company requirements for QAQC, report protocols under NI43-101, JORC, and others.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of international compliance and standardisation.
Desirable Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of technical documentation and manuals.
  • Stakeholder relation management experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and analytical skills.
