Job Title: Global Engagement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Engagement Manager to join our team at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade). As a key member of our International Education network, you will play a critical role in promoting Australian education and training offerings to international students, parents, and agents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with experts across Austrade and its partners to identify, target, and assess clients in the education sector seeking to expand internationally.
  • Provide strategic advice and drive outcomes for clients by creating an action plan, ensuring delivery, and establishing and maintaining global networks and relationships.
  • Anticipate and respond to client needs and challenges, escalating where required, and maintain detailed client records in our CRM system.
  • Contribute to the improvement of Austrade's digital services and monitor client needs to encourage improvements and innovation across all services.
  • Work with Senior GEMs and other GEMs and colleagues on and offshore to deliver on our trade strategy and represent Australia and Austrade in corporate and government settings.
Requirements:
  • Australian citizenship.
  • Security clearance (Baseline).
