We are looking for skilled professionals to join our team as Mechanical Fitters. The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical (Fitting/Machining) or equivalent qualifications, with experience working on Converting-type production lines in a FMCG environment.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work with us and contribute to the maintenance of our equipment and machinery. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our Maintenance and Production teams, performing preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and codes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical (Fitting/Machining) or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience working with Converting-type production lines in a FMCG environment
  • Machining and basic welding experience
  • Ability to work overtime hours as required
  • Experience using maintenance management systems (e.g. SAP)
  • Knowledge & experience in safe working practices and LOTO processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable and self-motivated individual with great work ethic
  • Quick learner with a can-do attitude
