Job Overview

The primary function of the Maintenance Technician is to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of vehicles.

This involves performing regular fluid checks, testing systems and components to verify their security and functionality, and identifying potential issues before they become major problems.

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of automobiles and electronic diagnostic equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with vehicles, utilizing technical knowledge and expertise to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend preventive maintenance measures.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of power tools, machine tools, and hand tools to complete tasks safely and effectively.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a service department environment.
  • ASE certifications highly desirable.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on feet for extended periods.
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
