Reporting directly to the Group Marketing Manager and Creative Director, this role is essential for guiding the design team and fulfilling Art Director responsibilities with precision.
Collaborate with team members to ensure the accurate production of marketing materials, while providing coaching, mentoring, and support to graphic designers. Support the Creative Director and Marketing Team in executing advertising and promotional materials, ensuring the company's brand identity is consistently upheld. Plan, manage, and execute photoshoots both in-house and on location.Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily management and development of the design team, offering guidance to enhance their skills. Assist team members in comprehending project briefs, providing necessary advice and clarification. Approve all design materials and projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to the brand's style guide. Explore and implement improved systems and processes for the design team, including managing external vendors. Conduct weekly meetings to review project progress and provide constructive feedback. Work on design initiatives for the entire Beacon Lighting Group, ensuring compliance with brand positioning and style guidelines. Regularly review and update brand style guides as necessary. Coordinate with external print and production suppliers to confirm specifications before artwork submission. Maintain an organized image library, ensuring accessibility for designers and relevant departments. Oversee project execution from creative concept to delivery, including pre-production planning, on-site photoshoots, post-production edits, and collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely completion of all projects. Ensure that the studio, sets, props, and equipment are well-maintained and organized.Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
A Diploma or Degree in graphic design or a related field, along with relevant experience in graphic design, art direction, or creative direction. At least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity is preferred. Proficiency in Mac OS. Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.Benefits
