Position Overview:

As the HVAC Service Manager, you will oversee a team of technicians, ensuring they deliver high-quality service and support to clients. You will provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to enhance their skills and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC technicians, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and providing technical support and guidance.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to technicians to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
  • Provide technical training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new technicians as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and effective communication.
  • Monitor inventory levels and equipment maintenance to ensure adequate supplies and optimal performance of HVAC systems.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations, promoting a culture of safety among team members.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing any technical inquiries or concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in the field.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience, preferably in the HVAC industry.
  • Strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, components, and controls.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex HVAC issues.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
