Are you a detail-oriented professional looking to join a dynamic data team? We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Data Technician.

Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality results in the field of asset digitisation. We use cutting-edge technologies to provide clients with instant access to their assets, enabling situational awareness for key decision makers worldwide.

In this role, you will work closely with our field services team to build complex 3D models by processing aerial photography, terrestrial laser point clouds, and terrestrial photogrammetry.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for data curation, ensuring that the data is in the correct format for processing. You will also ingest data, back it up, and set up systems to process data.

The ideal candidate will have technical ability with computing within a Windows environment and high attention to detail. Experience with virtual reality, software, game engines or technologically relevant areas is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and comply with management systems and controls to maintain quality, safety, environmental, and information security policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for data curation, ensuring the data is in the correct format for processing.
  • Ingest data, back it up, and set up systems to process data.
  • Align data for model creation.
  • Conduct model construction and texturing.
  • Fix and clean models to ensure the quality of product deliverables.
  • Optimal processing of deliverables ready for upload.

Essential Competencies, Skills & Experience:

  • Technical ability with computing within a Windows environment.

  • Previous laser scanning or photogrammetry processing experience.
  • Understanding or interest in cameras and photography.
  • Understanding of reality capture methodologies, techniques, and principles.
