Community Housing Services Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Community Housing Services Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of staff to deliver high-quality services that promote customer independence and choice.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction in line with business goals.
  • Foster a culture of open communication, collaboration, and ethical decision-making.
  • Support staff to deliver person-centred services that promote customer independence and choice.
  • Drive growth initiatives and support grant and tender writing projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Support policy development and ensure alignment with sector best practices.
  • Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance service delivery.
  • Champion a workplace culture that reflects the values of the organisation.
  • Build staff capacity through supervision, support, and training.
  • Promote the organisation within the broader community.
  • Establish and nurture strategic and operational partnerships across sectors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in community housing or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and risk management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
  • Commitment to ethical, professional behaviour and continuous improvement.
