Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at the Rydalmere Service Centre in Australia. As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll be responsible for the repair and maintenance of LV, MV, and HV electrical rotating machinery, including electric motors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair and replace mechanical assemblies, including shafts, gears, seals, impellers, fans, and bearing fits.
  • Balance mechanical assemblies using dynamic balancing equipment.
  • Conduct mechanical repairs on shafts, journals, and housings.
  • Requisition items from stores/purchasing, as approved by your Supervisor.
  • Clean electromechanical equipment assemblies using various methods.

Requirements

  • Trade Certificate III Fitter & Turner or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience in mechanical fitting large equipment such as electric motors.
  • A forklift license.
  • A customer service focus with adaptability.
  • Strong time management skills.
