We are seeking a skilled Mechatronics Engineer to join our product development team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and integrating subsystems and components within our avionics suite.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and testing of subsystems and components
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Drafting technical documentation for UAV subsystems, parts, and equipment
  • Maintaining and improving existing engineering processes

Qualifications and Knowledge:

We require a Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Engineering degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field, along with at least 3 years' experience in relevant industries/roles. Your skills should include functional design, design review, and certification processes. Proficiency in Modern C++ and Python is essential, as well as knowledge of real-time/embedded platforms. Experience with UAV sensor integration (EO, IR, and laser payloads) and avionics/UAS/UAV platforms is desirable.

A successful candidate will also demonstrate strong leadership skills, having led small teams in agile environments. Additional desired skills include excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, organisational and time-management skills, and knowledge of Ardupilot and UAV platforms.
