About This Job- Analyse, design and develop business-critical Trading Systems.
- Take projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release.
- Optimise systems to improve performance and latency.
- Collaborate with technologists, traders and quantitative analysts to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Continuously improve the capability and reliability of the systems, using technology, automation and optimisation.
- Meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
This role requires someone with exceptional C# development skills, extensive knowledge of design, profiling, object-oriented programming, multi-threading and performance, with a specific focus on back-end development.
Requirements- A Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline.
- A track record/knowledge/interest in trading, risk, quantitative or trading systems development is critical.
- Experience in Microservices and Cloud Technologies (preferably Azure Service Fabric, Microsoft Orleans, Envoy Proxy, gRPC, Protobuf, React JS, Docker, Kubernetes, Octopus Deploy and ELK Stack).
- Experience in WPF.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and a thorough understanding of the full software development life-cycle.
- A knowledge of/trading, derivatives, risk, pricing and Greeks will be highly regarded.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with traders, quantitative analysts and other software developers.
