Objective: To acquire a role as a short-term planner within the maintenance planning and engineering team.

Job Overview:

This position requires the successful candidate to effectively prepare and deliver maintenance schedules, playing a pivotal role in maintaining a mobile fleet.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Detail planning of jobs in SAP, capturing improvement changes, developing estimations of resource requirements and ordering materials
  • Prioritising work with supervisors, superintendents and external departments, utilising stakeholder and relationship building skills
  • Developing and refining the scheduled outage forecast for designated sites, working closely with site and central teams to optimise and manage business impact
  • Utilising innovative thinking to safely reduce shutdown duration where possible
  • Understanding and working with long-term plans in zero-based budget development
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring effective communication of plans and risk management strategies
Key Requirements:
  • A commitment to the safety of self and others
  • Proven experience using SAP
  • Experience with executing, scheduling or planning maintenance activities
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Project and Excel)
  • A current Australian C Class Driver's License
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • The ability to be proactive, flexible and work independently
  • Highly organised individual with great record-keeping skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Complex problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver solutions
