As a Housekeeper, you play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living spaces.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly clean common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and stairwells.
  • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning, and sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms.
  • Prepare vacant rooms for incoming residents by thoroughly cleaning them.
  • Collect refuse from residents' rooms and dispose of it according to set procedures.
  • Clean and restock housekeeping carts and notify supervisors when supplies are low.
  • Promote a safety culture by working safely, identifying and reporting hazards, following safe work practices and procedures, wearing personal protective equipment, supporting others to work safely, and completing safety education.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent education.
  • A high level of initiative for and commitment to completing housekeeping assignments efficiently and in a warm, friendly, and customer-service-oriented manner.
  • Ability to communicate well with internal and external customers to meet needs in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and safely use chemical cleaning agents and equipment.
  • Ability to provide a clear criminal record and Vulnerable Sector check upon hire.
  • Ability to provide a current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Advanced proficiency in the English language is required; proficiency in French is considered an asset.
  • A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care.
