Anton Murray Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Derivatives Client Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and supervising the ASX Listed Derivatives Cash Funding and Reconciliation Functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management
    • Manage client queries and ensure timely resolution of trade or margin discrepancies or disputes.
    • Single point of contact for Australian based Derivatives Clearing Clients.
  • Supervision of Cash Funding and Reconciliation
    • Oversee a team of two responsible for managing daily margin movements and cash flow activities for clients trading and clearing Listed Derivatives in the Australia and New Zealand markets.
    • Manage Trade, Position and Cash reconciliations on a T+1 basis for those markets.
  • Support to Australia PB Coverage team
    • Assist and support Australia PB Coverage team with Listed Derivatives and OTC Clearing queries.
  • Team Management
    • Management and supervision of a team of two, performing ASX margin and reconciliation activities, ensuring timely execution of tasks within the established control framework.
  • Risk Management
    • Risk management of margins, expiries & market events.
  • Client Support
    • Assist clients with margin, commission, fees and P&L calculations and adjustments.
    • Assist Clearing Sales with sales pitches and Request For Proposal (RFP) responses, this entails providing clients with operational walkthrough and discussing their operational requirements.
  • Partnership and Subject Matter Expertise
    • Partner with Client Onboarding team during the initial onboarding phase to discuss operational requirements and set ups and handhold clients.
    • Subject matter expertise for Global Listed Derivatives and OTC Clearing markets, Regulatory framework, client technology and vendor solutions.
    • Partnership with Global Derivatives Clearing Operations to deliver strategic initiatives for Australian based clients.

Requirements

  • Over 4 years' derivatives operations / client services / middle office experience – Listed and OTC.
  • Able to start at short notice.
  • Prior supervision or team leading experience held highly.
