Job Description

The pharmacy assistant/pharmacy technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dispensary team at a hospital. Key responsibilities include:

  • Dispensing and distributing pharmaceuticals.
  • Inventory management and stock coordination.
  • Collaborating with the pharmacy procurement and inventory management team as needed.
  • Ensuring continuity of service across multiple sites.

This role contributes directly to quality healthcare outcomes by providing essential services to patients and staff. The ideal candidate will have relevant pharmacy experience, either without formal qualifications or with a recognised certificate III in hospital or community pharmacy.
