We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Assistant/Technician. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing essential services, including dispensing and distribution of pharmaceuticals, inventory management, and stock coordination.
This role is part of the Operational Dispensary team at Gosford Hospital, working Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.30pm. As a member of this team, you will contribute to ensuring optimal pharmacy services for patients and staff, contributing directly to quality healthcare outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have relevant pharmacy experience, either without formal qualifications or with a recognised Certificate III in Hospital or Community Pharmacy. They will possess hands-on experience in pharmaceutical dispensing, stock management, and distribution, and pride themselves on their clear communication and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispensing and distribution of pharmaceuticals
- Inventory management and stock coordination
- Participation in the Pharmacy Procurement and Inventory Management team when needed
- Ensuring continuity of service across CCLHD sites
- Relevant pharmacy experience, either without formal qualifications or with a recognised Certificate III in Hospital or Community Pharmacy
- Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical dispensing, stock management, and distribution
- Clear communication and customer service skills
