About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced nurse leader to join Ward 1B in providing leadership and high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support the Nurse Unit Manager in overseeing daily operations and clinical care.
  • Provide hands-on clinical leadership ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
  • Manage staffing, workflows and resource allocation to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
  • Mentor and support nursing staff promoting a positive and professional work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with policies procedures and quality standards.
Requirements

We require an experienced nurse leader who:

  • Is a Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
  • Has previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrates strong clinical and problem-solving skills.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Can effectively manage staff rosters and patient care coordination.
  • Is committed to professional development and quality improvement.
