Patient Care Specialist

As a key team member in our dynamic imaging department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and undertaking essential procedures.
About the Role- You will report to the Imaging Team Leader and collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and efficient operations.
- Performing medical procedures and providing patient care while adhering to established policies, protocols, and guidelines.
- Analysing request forms and assist staff to ensure the appropriate examination is performed to obtain optimal results.
- Consulting with colleagues and Radiologists as needed.
- Supporting radiographers, nursing, and clinical staff by preparing patients for imaging examinations, including manual handling and positioning.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being part of a welcoming, multi-disciplinary team. Key skills include:
- Proven ability in cannulation or relevant experience in venepuncture.
- Experience managing scheduled appointments and ensuring seamless workflow.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Familiarity with radiology imaging systems is a plus, but not essential.
