The Opportunity
At Extend, we are seeking an enthusiastic OSHC Service Coordinator to engage with children in a secure and nurturing environment during Before and After School Care.
Role Overview
- Before School Care from 6:45 AM to 8:45 AM.
- After School Care from 2:45 PM to 6:00 PM.
- Availability preferred for Monday to Friday (5 days per week).
- Includes paid administrative time and regular networking meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the service.
- Design, plan, and implement engaging daily activities that are safe, enjoyable, and educational for children.
- Maintain a strong emphasis on child safety and compliance with mandatory reporting.
- Provide supervision and support to children.
- Prepare and serve nutritious food options.
- Foster a positive and engaging atmosphere for children.
- Cultivate meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the broader school community.

Requirements (completed or in progress)
- Certificate 4, Diploma, or Bachelor's in children's services or an equivalent qualification recognized for children's services.
- A current Employee Working with Children's Checks (willing to obtain).
- HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training.
- Child Protection (CHCPRT001 - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk).
