Supporting Allied Health Professionals
- Contribute to patient care by providing administrative and clinical assistance to allied health professionals.
- Undertake delegated clinical tasks, prepare and implement individual or group treatment programs.
- Assist with personal care, manual handling, and transport of patients.
- Set up, monitor, and care for clinical equipment, therapy materials, educational resources, and assistive devices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a range of individual patient interventions as delegated by the allied health professional.
- Preparing and implementing individual or group treatment programs for patients under supervision.
- Assisting with the personal care, manual handling, and transport of patients.
- Transporting, setting up, monitoring, and caring for clinical equipment, therapy materials, educational resources, and assistive devices.
