The RoleWe are seeking a proactive and organised Administrative Support Specialist to support our Foster Care team. In this vital role, you will assist the Manager, Caseworkers, and Case Work team with a range of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and efficient processes.
About YouYou are an experienced administrator with at least two years of experience, looking for a meaningful role in the community services sector. Your strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage time effectively will help you excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Foster Care team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Assist with the coordination of meetings, events, and training sessions.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including children, youth, carers, and community partners.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative processes and procedures.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
- Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- COVID-19 vaccination.
- Current Working with Children's Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.
- Experience working within a Foster Care Agency or Case Work Management.
- Understanding of child protection legislation, mandatory reporting, and related standards.
- Qualifications in Business Administration or a relevant field
