The Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Administrative Support Specialist to support our Foster Care team. In this vital role, you will assist the Manager, Caseworkers, and Case Work team with a range of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and efficient processes.

About You

You are an experienced administrator with at least two years of experience, looking for a meaningful role in the community services sector. Your strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage time effectively will help you excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Foster Care team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Assist with the coordination of meetings, events, and training sessions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including children, youth, carers, and community partners.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Current Working with Children's Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience working within a Foster Care Agency or Case Work Management.
  • Understanding of child protection legislation, mandatory reporting, and related standards.
  • Qualifications in Business Administration or a relevant field
