**Payroll Officer Role Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team. As a key member of the Finance department, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll function for our group.

The successful candidate will have at least two years of payroll experience, with strong knowledge of relevant legislation, taxation, superannuation, and workers compensation. Proficiency in using payroll software and rosters is essential.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, friendly, and solution-focused approach to internal and external customers.

Salary

This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary package. The specific details of the package will be discussed during the interview process.

Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • End-to-end payroll processing for all sites, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
    • Data entry and inputting information with minimal error.
    • Reconciliations of timecards, running reports as required.
    • Processing Payroll Tax, PAYG, and Superannuation.
    • Assisting with payroll checking, identifying, and communicating errors.
    • Maintaining employee and system information.
    • Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration.
    • Liaising with stakeholders via phone or email in a professional manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior payroll experience with exposure to complexities.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and rostering applications or time and attendance systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
