HSE Systems Administrator

About the Role
Rio Tinto is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Systems Administrator to join our Weipa Operations team. As a key member of our HSE team, you will play a critical role in supporting the application of HSE systems and tools to help our Functional and Operational leaders effectively deliver HSE outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of standardized HSE systems and tools
- Provide high-level support for data quality control processes, general HSE tools and processes
- Assist with data uploads and bookings for Occupational Health
- Support assurance programs, including first-party, business conformance, and other as required
- Manage CLASSIC Document Control, including intranet upload of controlled documents and reporting of overdue documents to leaders
- Responsible for Weekly, Monthly, Annual HSE reporting
- Support and develop capability of leaders and HSE team members in RT safety systems through effective coaching
- Creating Purchase requisitions
- Assisting the HSE Team with ad hoc tasks/projects
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong stakeholder engagement with finely tuned administration skills
- Proven experience using SAP, RTBS, SharePoint, Excel, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to provide H&S advice and communicate effectively across all levels of site
- Ability to be flexible and proactive
- Good time management and the desire to work in a team environment
- A commitment to the Safety of yourself and your team
