Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. As a Scheduler, you will play a critical role in rostering teams for the provision of traffic control services, coordinating fleet and equipment, and ensuring efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Roster staff and vehicles to maximize efficiency and productivity;
  • Schedule high-volume traffic control services to meet client demands;
  • Ensure optimal utilization of fleet and equipment resources;
  • Organize vehicle maintenance schedules to minimize downtime;
  • Provide administrative support for drug and alcohol testing and accommodation bookings;
  • Monitor, allocate, and control personal protective equipment (PPE);
  • Respond to client enquiries and provide exceptional customer service;
  • Assist with recruitment and induction of new staff;
  • Track staff qualifications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Update databases with client and employee details and notes; and
  • Perform general administration duties as required.

Requirements

  • 1+ years' experience in administrative and rostering roles;
  • Strong computer and administrative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Ability to work calmly and professionally in a high-pressure environment;
  • Passion for working with people and delivering exceptional customer service;
  • Confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills;
  • Determination to succeed and motivated by challenges, deadlines, and targets;
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Sound problem-solving and creativity skills;
  • Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently;
  • National Criminal History Check clearance;
  • Right to Work in Australia; and
  • Professional Reference Checks.
