Enhance your skills as a seasoned Trades Assistant in our pressure vessel and heat exchanger production.

Pair with a qualified boilermaker to streamline fabrication processes, ensuring they can focus on high-skill tasks like welding and assembly.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting boilermakers with material preparation, cutting, grinding, and positioning steel components for fabrication.
  • Supporting welding and assembly tasks by setting up jigs, fixtures, and workpieces for pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
  • Handling rigging and movement of heavy steel parts, maintaining safe and efficient workflow.
  • Performing basic maintenance and cleaning of tools, equipment, and work areas to keep production on track.
  • Collaborating with boilermakers and supervisors to prioritize tasks, freeing up skilled trades for fabrication focus.
  • Adhering to strict safety and quality standards in a high-precision steel environment.

Experience with pressure vessels, heat exchangers, or similar heavy steel products is beneficial. Forklift, rigging, or dogging tickets are also advantageous (current or willingness to obtain).
