About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Engineer to join our Google Cloud team. As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, ensuring they have a seamless experience with our Google Cloud products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze system and network configuration issues to resolve customer problems on Google Cloud Platform products.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Google's product technology and networked application architectures to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
  • Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of engineers and consultants to ensure global customer support.
  • Be flexible with working hours and manage regular weekend duties.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math, or equivalent practical experience in technical support, professional services, software development, or product operations management.
  • 4 years of experience reading or debugging code, including Java, C, C++,.NET, Python, Shell, Perl, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with cloud-based serverless, storage, and developer tools technologies, as well as SQL database administration, Google App Engine, and open source software communities.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently, as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in Mandarin with local stakeholders.
