Group Facilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Facilitation Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
This is a casual opportunity that offers flexible hours for a better work-life balance. Our team prioritizes employee wellbeing, providing access to counseling, wellbeing services, legal assistance, and financial support.
The Inpatient Program provides specialized care for individuals struggling with emotional or behavioral difficulties, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and substance misuse addiction. Our Day Programs offer evidence-based group therapy programs designed to address specific needs, helping individuals develop coping mechanisms, manage symptoms, and prevent relapse.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in group facilitation within mental health settings. They will possess exceptional customer service skills, commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services, and knowledge of DBT, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness techniques. Well-developed group skills and the ability to work autonomously are essential.
About You- Registered Nurse with Current APHRA registration, Clinical Psychologist Grade 2, Occupational Therapist Grade 2 or Social Worker Grade 2.
- A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience in group facilitation in the areas of Mental Illness.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and solely.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Commitment to excellence in the delivery of healthcare services to patients seeking mental health treatment.
- Knowledge with DBT, CBT, ACT and Mindfulness would be highly desirable.
- Well-developed and established group skills.
