Workshop Management Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Manager to lead our Engineering team in Adelaide.

  • Oversee and manage a dedicated workshop supporting Explosive Ordnance Projects
  • Implement the onsite Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) tool effectively
  • Manage servicing and calibration of technical equipment within the workshop
  • Drive a safety culture within the customer site to ensure WHS compliance among all workshop users
  • Provide technical input to support user requirements
  • Develop or maintain documentation such as Work Orders, Work Instructions, SOPs, Risk Assessments, and Equipment maintenance procedures
  • Potentially support customer training and competency management

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Significant manufacturing or production experience leading safety-critical technical operations
  • Certificate IV in WH&S (preferred)
  • Substantial hands-on and supervisory experience in a multi-discipline workshop environment
  • Experience leading teams within technical quality management frameworks
  • The ability to engage positively with teams and stakeholders

Applicants must hold or have recently held an NV1 Australian Defence security clearance.
