">At our organization, we are seeking an experienced Financial Support Professional to provide financial assistance to our hospitality portfolio.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Process weekly payroll for allocated venues, ensuring timely payment in accordance with the HIGA Award;
- Liaise with Venue Managers on payroll queries;
- Coordinate purchasing workflows for a group of hotels, including timely and accurate processing of invoices, statement reconciliations, and supplier payments;
- Verify account details with new suppliers;
- Reconcile bank accounts, including credit cards;
- Assist with end-of-month reporting and general ledger reconciliations;
- Liaise with suppliers, operations staff, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
">- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an accounts, payroll, or bookkeeping role;
- Previous payroll experience, preferably with the HIGA award;
- Experience using XERO;
- Working knowledge of Excel;
- Strong sense of initiative to tackle any task head-on;
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements;
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Confidence to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
