Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial professional to manage the financial records of our clients.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their financial needs and provide timely and accurate financial information. You will also mentor and develop junior staff members, manage workflow and compliance, and assist with financial audits and reviews.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree or diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping, experience in a public practice, and tech-savviness with the ability to learn new systems quickly. Prior experience with Xero Accounting software and an intermediate to advanced level in the full Microsoft office suite is highly desirable.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconciling bank and credit card statements
  • Processing payroll, including superannuation, payroll tax, and workers' compensation
  • Lodging superannuation
  • Preparing and lodging ATO activity statements
  • Monthly reporting, including cash flow
  • Mentoring and developing junior staff
  • Managing workflow and compliance
  • Assisting with financial audits and reviews
