  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality personal care to residents in a residential aged care setting.
  • Assist Registered Nurses with vital sign documentation, medication administration, and resident assessments.
  • Support residents with meal consumption and monitor their nutrition.
  • Implement infection control and prevention measures.
  • Provide palliative care, restorative care, and pain management services.
  • Liaise with residents' families, doctors, and allied health professionals.

Requirements for Success:

  • Certification in Aged Care or Individual Support (or equivalent).
  • COVID-19 vaccinations and annual flu shot.
  • Current first aid and CPR certification.
  • At least 6 months of full-time experience working in aged care as a Personal Care Worker in Australia.
  • Current police check (under 12 months old) and NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
