Job Title: Personal Support Worker

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a compassionate and supportive individual to join our aged care team as a Personal Support Worker. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents in a respectful and dignified manner.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including grooming, showering, mobility, meals, and toileting.
  • Deliver services and activities centered around resident needs, promoting independence and quality of life.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to provide exceptional care and support.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure a holistic and person-centered approach to care.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in an aged care environment, preferably with a focus on personal care and support.
  • Ability to provide services and activities centered around resident needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships with residents and colleagues.
  • High level of customer service skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional care and support.
