Senior GIS Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GIS Analyst to join our team at Peak Services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading organization in the field of spatial data management and analysis.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the implementation, management, and utilization of ESRI Enterprise platform, as well as a strong background in GIS technologies and spatial analysis.
The role involves overseeing the establishment, execution, and surveillance of Council's spatial data standards, specifications, and operational guidelines to uphold data accuracy and relevance.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of determining business requirements and effectively implementing change management strategies across an organization.

Key Responsibilities- Oversee the establishment, execution, and surveillance of Council's spatial data standards, specifications, and operational guidelines.
- Provide specialized technical guidance regarding the design, administration, and upkeep of spatial systems and databases.
- Advocate for and champion the efficient utilization of spatial systems and GIS throughout the organization.
- Organize regular assessments of spatial data quality to ensure compliance with corporate standards and maintain data integrity.
- Coordinate spatial analysis initiatives and projects to extract insights that enhance decision-making across various business units.
- Stay abreast of GIS industry trends, monitoring advancements, and proposing initiatives that align with business needs.
- Completion of tertiary qualifications from a recognized institution in the fields of spatial science, IT, or associated discipline.
- Extensive experience in the implementation, management, and utilization of ESRI Enterprise platform.
- Skilled in setting up user permissions, user groups, defining user levels, and establishing AGOL and Enterprise collaborations.
- Proficiency in performing migration plan tests, setting up a corporate geodatabase, and managing FME scripts for data transfer between old and new.
- Accomplished in GIS technologies and the ability to continually update knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in this field.
- Demonstrated track record of determining business requirements and effectively implementing change management strategies across an organization.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
