About the role

As a Senior Finance Analyst in our Treasury section, you will focus on financial modelling related to Council's long-term performance and revenue streams. Your analytical skills will contribute to the delivery of high-quality financial management for the organisation.

You will support informed reporting and internal decision-making processes, including:

  • Long-term financial forecasts
  • Rates and utility charges modelling
  • Development and management of full cost and activity-based pricing models
  • Revenue analysis
  • Debt and investment management

The role will also contribute to traditional treasury services, including policy development, banking, trust fund management, and taxation within the local government environment.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant role with a focus on financial or economic modelling and analysis
  • Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another relevant field, and eligibility of membership of CPA Australia or other recognised accounting body are desirable, but not essential

About the benefits

This is a permanent, full-time position at level 6 with a salary commencing at $100,533 plus 12.5% superannuation.
