About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Sheetmetal Fabricator to join a highly successful business that manufactures high-end custom-made timber stairs.

The ideal candidate will have formal qualifications in the trade and an apprenticeship in Australia, with at least 10 years of experience in Sheetmetal Fabrication. MIG experience is essential, and TIG experience is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain shearing, punching, and forming machines to fabricate high-quality sheet metal parts.
  • Cut, form, and join sheet metal to create custom components.
  • Inspect and check finished parts for quality and accuracy.
  • Install or repair products made from sheet metal, ensuring a high level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to determine the specific requirements of a job and ensure timely completion.
