Role Overview

A skilled Service Technician is required to perform routine maintenance and inspections on tower cranes, diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic faults, inspect and test components, ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on tower cranes.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic faults and issues.
  • Inspect and test components.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support.

Requirements:

  • Valid Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience with fixed or mobile plant mechanical maintenance and repair, preferably on cranes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
