Business Data Specialist

We are seeking a skilled data strategist to drive the evolution of our data reporting frameworks and foster a data-driven culture.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and automation of operational reports and dashboards, design and deliver intuitive client solutions, and partner with stakeholders to meet business needs through data.
As the ideal candidate, you'll have strong practical experience with business intelligence tools, proven ability to manage and analyse large datasets, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and automate operational reports and dashboards.
- Design and deliver client solutions that are accurate, clear, and consistent.
- Analyse complex datasets to support internal decision-making and external stakeholder reporting.
- Collaborate with business units to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Drive adoption of business intelligence tools and modernise legacy reporting processes.
- Uphold data integrity and governance standards across reporting assets.
- Create documentation and training resources to enable self-service reporting across the business.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational data utilisation.
- 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or reporting role, ideally in operational or client-facing environments.
- Strong practical experience with business intelligence tools.
- Proven ability to manage and analyse large, complex datasets from multiple systems.
- Skilled in data analysis, mapping, and automation.
- A sound understanding of data governance and quality principles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality, actionable insights.
