Job Title: CFX TD

We are seeking a skilled CFX TD to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality rigs and simulations for creatures, digital doubles, vehicles, and props.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce simulation rigs for creatures, digital doubles, vehicles, and props
  • Develop technical and creative solutions to meet production needs
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality results
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Proven production experience on multiple VFX feature films
  • Thorough knowledge of cloth simulation and expertise in muscle, skin, fat, hair, and fur simulations
  • Production experience using Maya
  • Strong shot sculpting skills, including corrective shapes
  • Experience with Houdini
  • Strong visual and artistic skills
  • Familiarity with pipeline issues and a typical creature-heavy post-production environment
  • Good understanding of anatomy
  • Good troubleshooting skills and ability to read through a script/log

Nice to Have:

  • Scripting skills in Python
  • Rigging skills
  • Good generalist skills
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix-based operating systems
