">As Head of Technical Pre-Sales, you will lead the strategy, structure, and execution of technical pre-sales across Micromine's global operations. This role is instrumental in defining a scalable, consistent, and high-impact pre-sales function that aligns with our growth strategy and enhances customer confidence in our solutions.
">You will work closely with Regional Technical Services Managers, Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure our pre-sales engagements are compelling, efficient, and technically robust.
">With a clear focus on operational excellence, you'll drive process improvement, implement global standards, and mentor a distributed team of high-performing technical professionals.
">Key responsibilities include designing and institutionalising global technical pre-sales processes and methodologies, leading and coaching a regional team of technical pre-sales professionals, and supporting go-to-market efforts through technical validation, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements.
">Additionally, you will partner with Sales, Product, and Marketing to ensure alignment and a seamless customer experience, define KPIs, performance metrics, and governance frameworks for pre-sales excellence, and manage systems and tools to support reporting, knowledge sharing, and performance tracking.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">- 10+ years' experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or a related field.
- Proven leadership in scaling and optimising pre-sales functions across regions or business units.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
- Experience in mining technology, engineering software, or geoscience solutions is highly desirable.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Geoscience, or a related field.
