We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Project Delivery Managers Pty Ltd (PDM). As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of project management and ensuring the successful delivery of civil projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project plans, including preparing estimates and using tools such as Gantt charts.
- Analyse and interpret engineering designs, specifications, and drawings for construction projects.
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects, including organizing labour and resources for the construction process.
- Monitor project costs and ensure effective cost control.
- Conduct on-site investigations and coordinate site activities.
- Determine project costs and oversee construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSEQ) requirements.
- Provide project progress reports and conduct weekly meetings with stakeholders.
- Offer technical and engineering advice as needed.
- Minimum tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum five years of work experience in civil engineering or a related field.
- Australian work experience is a must.
- Positive attitude and high client-serving standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction and surveying electronic systems.
- Proficient in MS Suite.
- Candidates must have a civil background.
- Ability to prioritize and manage volume.
- Strong IT literacy and technological savvy.
- Knowledge of Queensland Main Roads (QTMR) Standards and Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA) Treatment Guide.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly professional, proactive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
- Passionate about civil construction project management.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Positive and well-presented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Hold a current manual driver's licence and Construction White Card.
- An attractive and competitive remuneration package - $80,000 to $100,000 (annual) + superannuation depending upon work experience.
