We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Oaks Sydney Goldsbrough Suites. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to maintain a pristine environment.
  • Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within allocated hours, adhering to quality and productivity standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards, utilizing specialized cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively.
  • Maintain strong relationships with team members, guests, and contractors, ensuring excellent customer service and a professional image.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is highly regarded, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • A basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment is essential (training will be provided).
  • Good physical fitness and stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods, as well as the ability to lift up to 20 kilograms.
  • Professional communication skills are required to interact with guests, team members, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • A strong time management skillset and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently are necessary to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic is essential to succeed in this role.
