Safe Medical Leader

Establish a safe and secure environment for medical emergencies by utilizing strong leadership skills.
This role is responsible for maintaining emergency response and medical facilities, equipment, and resources. You will also assist in implementing, monitoring, and managing the site's medical and emergency services systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective emergency response plans
- Maintain high-quality medical facilities, equipment, and resources
- Review and write reports on medical and emergency procedures
- Design and develop integrated management systems (IMS)
- Apply health, safety, and environmental legislation relevant to mining practices
- Provide expert advice on health, safety, and environmental statutory requirements
- Manage interactions with regulators and external bodies relating to health, safety, and environmental performance
Qualities We Value:
- Experience working in the mining industry in a similar role
- Ability to work efficiently with Microsoft Office suite
- Able to work productively with minimal supervision
- Proactive and able to identify problems/risks towards the organization
- Exceptional relationship building skills
Skills Required:
- Certificate IV in Health Care (Ambulance)
- Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue
- C Class Driver's Licence (MR Class Driver's Licence is desirable)
- Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
