Senior Nursing Leadership Role

Job Summary

This senior nursing clinician will provide generalist nursing duties, including medication management, assessment, coordination and case management, and supervision of staff to ensure exceptional care for residents.

You will be responsible for leading and managing clinical staff, managing all clinical aspects of the facility, including ACFI and clinical governance, while continuing hands-on nursing across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of clinical staff to deliver high-quality resident care
  • Manage all clinical aspects of the facility, including ACFI and clinical governance
  • Provide generalist nursing duties, including medication management, assessment, coordination and case management
  • Supervise staff to ensure exceptional care for residents
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote quality care and service excellence

Requirements

  • 3 years Previous experience as a Clinical Manager in aged care
  • Current Division 1 Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 4 years' experience as a Registered Nurse (essential)
  • Demonstrated leadership of employees, clinical governance, and ACFI
  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • Agreement to obtain a national police check
  • Evidence of Australian work rights
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccinations (or willing to obtain)
  • Evidence of both COVID 19 vaccinations
