Collins Executive Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Banking Professional to join our client's team. As a key member of the corporate finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the investment banking team in executing various financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Analysis and Modelling: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modelling to support the evaluation and execution of investment banking transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments.
- Due Diligence: Assist in conducting due diligence activities, including industry research, competitive analysis, and financial statement analysis, to support deal evaluation and strategic decision-making.
- Pitch Books and Presentations: Prepare pitch books, presentations, and other marketing materials for client meetings and investor presentations.
- Transaction Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and manage the execution of transactions, ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on companies, industries, and market trends to identify potential investment opportunities and provide insights to clients.
- Documentation: Assist in preparing transaction-related documentation, such as offering memorandums, prospectuses, and information memorandums.
- Client Management: Support senior team members in client management activities, including attending client meetings, responding to client requests, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends to provide informed recommendations and insights to clients and internal teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction services, valuations, modelling or related fields.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and other financial analysis tools. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely. Exceptional organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with colleagues at all levels.
- Desirable: Australian PR or Citizenship.
