Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Aide to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes, enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain independence.

The role involves a range of personal care tasks, including showering, grooming, toileting etc., as well as other support such as medication assistance, meal preparation, domestic assistance/general housekeeping tasks and social support in the community.

Care Aides will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, therefore having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously, via a mobile app, will be essential.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC or Disability is highly desirable.
  • Those with a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 3 months relevant care worker experience. Those without a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 6+ months relevant care worker experience (FTE).
  • Experience working in a home care/community setting is highly desirable.
  • A valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
  • Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
