About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at PETstock VET Carrum Downs. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide informative animal care advice to clients and handle incoming calls to book appointments.
  • Determine patients requiring urgent treatment and assign emergency appointments as needed.
  • Prepare client/patient information and coordinate the completion of required forms prior to each consult.
  • Assist with billing, payment, check-out, and rebooking of outgoing clients and patients.
  • Contribute to stock management and general business administration as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer service or reception role is essential.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office level and experience using veterinary software such as EzyVet are required.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Compassion, empathy, and strong emotional resilience are essential for working with animals and their owners.
