This role requires a senior leader to oversee a large-scale national fleet operation. The Head of Transport will be responsible for managing a diverse workforce, including operations, safety, compliance, fleet, administration, and continuous improvement teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead operational and cost management across the national fleet, ensuring optimal productivity, maintenance, and adherence to CPU and performance targets.
  • Oversee compliance programs, embedding a culture of safety and accountability organisation wide.
  • Drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives to lift efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
  • Collaborate with CI and CoE teams to plan and execute capital investments, analyse DIFOT and wider performance metrics, and identify opportunities for long-term improvement.
  • Build a high-performing, inclusive culture across multiple teams and locations, fostering accountability, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Develop strong relationships with executives, internal stakeholders, and key external partners to maximise operational outcomes.
  • Support and mentor senior leaders and frontline teams, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and promoting professional development.
